Zana Williams, ESQ.

Founder & CEO, Mindful resolutions

Zana Williams, Esq. (she/her) is a dedicated attorney, social impact entrepreneur, and member of the Advisory Board at IMPACT405, LLC. As the Founder and CEO of Mindful Resolutions, Zana has spent her career working to create lasting change in the legal system, with a special focus on reducing recidivism and empowering system-impacted individuals. Her work is rooted in her own life experiences, having grown up in Del City, Oklahoma, with notable time spent in Muskogee, Cornwell Mountain, Jamaica, and Inglewood, California. Adopted out of the foster care system, Zana's journey has profoundly shaped her advocacy.

Zana’s personal journey has fueled her professional mission. Raised by adoptive parents who passed away while she was still young, Zana became a caretaker at an early age, learning firsthand the challenges and emotional toll of caregiving. This experience has driven her to become an advocate for caregivers, offering support and resources to those navigating similar roles. Her passion for youth advocacy also began early, having found purpose in high school debate and mock trial, and it continues to inspire her work today.

With over 20 years of experience working in the legal system and four years as a licensed attorney, Zana has built a reputation for her expertise in de-escalation and relationship building as it relates to fostering positive outcomes in high-stakes legal scenarios.

Zana’s leadership extends into her community work as well—she serves on the boards of Possibilities, Inc. and Oklahoma Lawyers for Families and Children, and is a member of the Urban League Expungement Legal Team. Through Mindful Resolutions, Zana focuses on de-escalation, mindfulness, and positive relationship building training.

At IMPACT405, Zana’s experience in legal reform and strategic partnerships plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s mission to support individuals facing life’s toughest challenges. Her long-term vision is to partner with others to reduce recidivism and promote mindfulness, creating a more just and equitable society. Through her work with IMPACT405, Zana is helping to build a future where communities are stronger, and where those impacted by the system have the opportunity to thrive.

For Zana, the work is deeply personal. She hopes to contribute to IMPACT405 by offering insight and feedback that can drive the organization’s mission forward, ensuring that the communities they serve feel supported and empowered. Her passion for advocating for those going through life’s toughest challenges makes her an invaluable part of the IMPACT405 Advisory Board.
