PROJECT365
Putting Shoes on the Feet of Those Who Need Them Most
About Project365
In Oklahoma, homelessness affects thousands, with the 2024 Point-in-Time count held on Jan. 25, 2024 showing that 1,838 people were without a place to call home in Oklahoma City alone—a significant increase of 402 people from last year. Across the state, approximately 3,500 to 4,000 individuals are experiencing homelessness, with 62% identifying as male, 36% as female, and 2% as transgender or another gender identity.
Project365 is an annual initiative by Impact405 to provide essential footwear for OKC’s most vulnerable residents. Our goal is to collect 365 pairs of new or gently used shoes each year to help those facing the daily challenges of homelessness.
Why Shoes Matter
A sturdy pair of shoes provides more than comfort. For many, it’s a barrier against the cold, a shield from injury, and a small boost of confidence on difficult days. Whether it’s a pair of warm boots for winter or a comfortable pair of sneakers, your donation helps make daily life a little easier for our community’s most at-risk individuals.
